it could be a bar on top/bottom or direct inside the values, like spreadsheets but only for basic functions, like =(600×4) or =(242000/600) (how many pipes for that many liquid)

example:

water x =(242000/600) mk2 pipes

after leaving the dialog:

water x 404 mk2 pipes
