Bring Satisfactory Modeler to Mobile

First of all, thank you for creating Satisfactory Modeler. It’s honestly one of the best planning tools for Satisfactory, and many players rely on it for designing complex factories.

I wanted to ask if you have ever considered creating a mobile version (Android/iOS) of the app. I think it would be incredibly useful for the community. Many of us would love to plan factories, production lines, and layouts directly from our phones or tablets while away from the PC.

The interface and functionality of Satisfactory Modeler already feel perfect for touch controls, especially on tablets. A mobile version could become one of the most-used companion apps for Satisfactory players.

Even a simplified version with:

Factory planning
Production chain calculations
Save/load blueprints
Cloud sync between PC and mobile

would be amazing.

Thank you again for all your hard work on the project. Your tool genuinely improves the Satisfactory experience for many players.

Best regards,
A big Satisfactory fan

This would be an absolute monster of a task and would take me at minimum several years to complete if I abandoned all other work on the modeler. There is absolutely no way I would ever do this. If people want it for mobile someone else can rewrite it.

      Hey,

Thank you for the honest answer — I completely understand. After looking through the application structure, I can clearly see how massive the project really is and why a full Android port would be an enormous undertaking.

The reason I’m asking is because I genuinely love Satisfactory Modeler and I think a mobile version would be incredible for the community, especially for quick factory planning away from PC.

Since you mentioned someone else would need to rewrite it, I wanted to ask if there is any possibility of getting access to the source code, or at least the core calculation/backend portion of the project, strictly for the purpose of attempting an Android version.

I’m not asking you to support development or spend time helping with the port. I completely respect that this is your project and your time is valuable. I would simply like the chance to explore whether a community-driven Android adaptation is possible.

Of course, I would fully respect any conditions you set regarding licensing, attribution, distribution, monetization, or ownership. I would also gladly keep you credited as the original creator everywhere.

Even partial access to the non-UI logic or older source snapshots would help tremendously.

Either way, thank you again for creating such an amazing tool for the Satisfactory community.
