Background Image

Suggestion

Love the program, thought it might be nice to create all of my “outposts” overlaid on a background image of the map? Then I can place each factory in it’s respective location, or simply plan modular factories for the future.

Obviously it would be nice to create lines for trains between them as well, but I’ll think about that separately. please excuse me if this is already an option, still learning!

    I would love to see this feature in this most prodigious program! I started laying out my outposts by biome/region with all resource nodes with correct purity levels set in roughly the correct areas, disabled the “Parts per Minute” mode, and set quantity to 1 so that I can see exactly the materials I have in that entire area and feed them into my factories, adjusting the miner level and overclocks accordingly. It would be even more insanely awesome if you could check a box and toggle on the map (at some sort of adjustable zoom level) and have a second toggle for all the resources with correct purity to be added as well, but that would get really complicated dealing with outposts… so just the ability to load/save a custom background per outpost and at the root level would be fantastic.
